when you get to digging around the rocks in the midwest you find all kinds of fossils of small sea animals, so apparently rising sea levels is nothing new, but I will grant you, that was before man, or very few men, now we could change things so fast that many of our animal friends may not be quick enoiugh to adapt, and that is what worries me. I see them moving north. Maybe they know something we don't. But as a human I think it is my obligation to care for them.
Like the lady (my ex girlfriend) said, "Do what is good for the earth and everything else will take care of itself."
