Study: More than half of US seniors live in poverty

I don't feel sorry for the generation, I just pointed out that the lie of the American dream is dead for a long time except the few who enjoy the incredible combination of being 70% extremely lucky, 15% extraordinary smart and hard working and 15% being very well connected.
More like 90% well connected, 9% lucky, 1% extremely smart.
 
Definitely different shades of poverty. Nonetheless poverty is not fun regardless of where one lives. Much less fun when everyone around you flaunts their wealth than in a community where everyone else is poor. That's probably why most Filipinos are way happier people than Americans.
