Student Tasered after asking Kerry questions

Quote from Gr8Veto:

You don't fuk'n tase ppl for being "disruptive"... especially not when they are ALREADY subdued and in hand cuffs... Tell me how the hell 5 or 6 cops could not remove one dude without tasing him... This shit is rediculous!

Yea. Cops love to use every inch of power they can, if they feel

its in their favor. Hard to argue with someone with a badge and

a gun. They know this, and take advantage.

Ever notice how cops make you feel so inferrior when you get

pulled over?...sometimes over nothing at all?..I got pulled over

for going 5mph over the limit at 3am in the morning when not a

SINGLE car was on the road.

If they just let the guy speak, the whole damn thing could have

been avoided.

I saw Bush's television address today ... he went on to answer questions from journalists.

Several of the questions (one about a u.s bombing in syria, I forget the others) he indignantly refussed to answer. What is going on here, your taxes pay this fuck's wages ... he is payed to do a job and he better damn well answer legitimate questions.

What have things come to when he and other politicians are completely unaccountable ... they can take your money, spend it how they want, affect your life how they want and not even have to answer a question about how they are spending that money on illegal bombing raids if they don't want to.

Is this democracy or socialism?

Democracy and Socialism are not mutually exclusive. A comparison against dictatorship might be more apt.

funny stuff ... the newly elected "change" congress has an 11% approval rating, 1/3 of Bush's.

I onced played the game "SIMMS", the most realistic aspect of the game was the whining of the populace. What? Do you honstely think you're better than them?

THIS IS A CELEBRATION OF DIVERSITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Governance with Division as a top priority.

I am all for a referendum style of democracy where the decisions (or at least the big ones) are put to the public vote. The polician's job would be to put the arguments to the public and we decide.
