I am looking for a trading platform that offers practice trading or paper trading.

I am a student who wants to practice day trading and keep a history of daily transactions and track P/L over a significant amount of time.

I dont want to pay for the software because i would not trade real money. I want access for educational purposes and build a portfolio to show my skills to wallstreet firms when im ready to look for a job after college..

does anyone know of a platform that provides real time data that would allow me to do this for more then the normal 7-day trails and would not delete transaction history..

Taking a second look at your post, if you want to build-up your resume based on your paper trading results ..., well, it's a nice pipedream, but it's not going to cut it in the real world.

Good luck anyway.
 
no well i did get an intern position and many interviews with trading and specialist firms showing them past trading logs with securities and options..

but since they are in the business of day trading.. i want a trading log for that as well. just 30k for to open an account isnt feasible for a college student..


looking to just trade the spy and sector spiders.
