The war in Iraq? I already provided a link to a thread I started a couple days ago. Scroll up, and read my first post, though it is kind of long.

And I also already dispelled some of obama's tax myths, and hopefully put to rest that ridiculous issue of the "vacant" votes.

However I'm sure you're more interested in hearing something pro-bush, or at least pro-bush-esque, in which case you should clink the link that I provided above. However if you do have comments on it I suggest you comment in that thread.

It seems Sarah Palin selection will prove to be a Master Stroke for John McCain. He is offering CHANGE which has been the main message of Obama campaign.

Sarah Palin has become a similary type of fresh idea that Obama had become vrs Hillary in Democratic circles.

Remember Bill Clinton won twice on the agenda and administration actions of being a CENTROCRAT i.e Conservative Democrat.

Obama is openly declaring to veer to the left side and that nullifies the historical or average market and economic returns under the democratic administrations.

McCain Palin ticket has the momentum now, so people are willing to forget alot, even the George Bush' years and the mess that he and his team are leaving behind. Call it the great American optimism ;-)

This is the exact point the republicans are trying to make. He avoided voting "yes" or "no" for politically-motivated reasons. He is an even bigger bullshit artist than Bush and yet you hang on every word/speech he says. There is nothing more hypocritical than bashing repubs for supporting liars, and then listening to this guy. I wouldn't expect any less than this for a typical, biased, NY Times article:

What you wrote in the other thread is simply laughable. You might be too young to remember, but at the time when Bushies and his NeoCons were preparing for Iraq invasion, we the "liberals" challenged the WMD assertion as bogus and suspected that the true motive was oil driven. But do you think America would invade Iraq solely for their oil reserve because it somehow anticipated the oil price would spike up to $145 and Americans would suffer as a result? The grand ambition of the NeoCons is regime change, my naive democratic friend, regardless of whether CIA got its facts right.

The Neocon plan is basically an empire building, like British, German, French, Roman, Greek and all the other empires before us, and we know how well those all turned out.

It seems that the world will never learn how to live together without countries trying and failing to be the final empire (or thousand year reich, if you remember that one).

And, by the way, I am a democrat, and not naive about the destructive path our nation is being led down.
