The overarching message of the republican platform for years has been SMALLER government and yet the current administration has it zealots that advocate for complete domination over our private lives from domestic surveillance (aka. spying) to the bailout of Fannie and Freddie that will only add further burnden for us tax payers. Ok, I would just like to say to everyone on this thread, regardless of party affiliation, 34 yrs Rep vs 26 yrs Dem( and I will assume those 2 be true)it seems obvious to me which way the country leans.
Secondly, I would ask everyone to consider 1 thing.
How is a Rep Pres going to get anything accomplished with a Dem House and Dem Senate in control and vice versa?????
By the way, which is the current state we are in and have been for the past 8 yrs.
Point is you go nowhere, and if anyone else doesn't see this than shame on you.
But it is unfair to blame the Pres at the time for the state of the country of such entity!
