Market looking for revenue growth .BIDU did
Top and bottom lines. So far a few companies beat bottom lines but not top lines. This is a good earning report.

EW......also good to invest longer term. Baby boomers will need heart repairs. EW is in the right spot. They have the best tissue valves in the world.

I know the lady at church who used to work with Mr. Edwards in the garage, they were good friends. He was a doctor. She did the sowing for the pig heart valves in her kitchen. She is very old now and health is not doing well. I'm taking care of her 2 orchid plants for her. Mr. Edwards sold the business for BAX. Later BAX spinned off EW in 2000.

Barbara Walter just had her valved replaced, an EW tissue valve .

BIDU is another long term hold. Buy when you have money and save for the kids, grand children. Think about the potential of searching business in china. It's only the beginning now.
 
I have good connection in the medical devices business. My sister's friend ( I know him well) used to be the CFO at EW. He moved on to Europe and became the president of one of the BAX division.

I know a high level executive at AGN.

I also know a few other people who started smaller companies using capital venture. It's very excited to see these people talk.

My ex-employees's husband started a catheter company with a friend. He turned around and sold it to JNJ. They have private plane now.
