BA: new contract.
SYDNEY, April 1 (Reuters) - Australian budget carrier Virgin Blue (VBA.AX) said on Thursday it has formally signed an agreement with Boeing (BA.N) to buy up to 105 new 737 aircraft.
"A significant percentage of the aircraft is intended for replacement of the existing narrow body fleet, while the remainder will be deployed to new routes," the carrier said in a statement. (Reporting by Narayanan Somasundaram; Editing by Balazs Koranyi)
