Bill Clinton ordered the merciless bombing of Serbia, CARPET BOMBING, for 80 STRAIGHT DAYS. The reason was that a crazy dictator was taking over the area. That dictator never even once posed any direct threat to the United States and had no weapons of mass destruction. THERE WAS NO PROTEST BECAUSE IT WAS ORDERED BY A DEMOCRAT.

the thing is there ALREADY is a wall of mistrust erected between the US and the Muslim world; a wal created, needless to say, solely by the muslim world itself. only people that don't have direct experience of living amongst large populations of muslims can think that it is actually possible to create an atmosphere of trust with these people. people, like me, that HAVE lived amongst muslim populations would easily understand exactly what i am talking about.

apparently Dr Mahatir's solution is for the US to appease the anger of the muslim world. and why are they angry? only cos the US stands for everything that threatens their primitive culture. again, it is impossible to appease these people. it seems this universally misunderstood, but especially by the left.

how many supporters did the US's action against Afghanistan have in the muslim world? these people are unbelievable, the US had one of the best cases in world history for going into Afghanistan, and the muslim nations still decried taking military action!

let's not forget that the Prime Minister's followers also blame soros and his "world bank" goons for raiding his currency during the asian debacle a few years back. soros/world bank = west.... people need to wake up....it is not our freedom and values that are pissing these people off. do you think china believes us when we say, whoops....sorry, didn't mean to blow up your embassy!!!!!

True enough Dot. Its probably more about US imperialism and the fact that we fought against the current government, on their soil, during their civil war. Not to even mention that we sustain a small hostile island off their shore armed to the teeth with weapons pointed towards the mainland.
 
Yeah, we are imperialists, that's why we have been conquering the world like the roman empire and everyone is our slaves. Do you even know what Imperialism is ? Where do you get this shit ?
 
According to Stratfor (a kind of private CIA organization) the Chinese embassy was bombed for a reason. It was not a mistake. They were passing on information and intelligence on to Milosovic's men. For what reason I can not fathom.

The US had to take it out because it was their base of operations. Their activity was causing the war to be prolonged and more people (especially US soldiers) being at risk.

The US could not just publicly state this as China would have flatley denied any such activity. Also they couldn't touch the embassy because as you know it is technically Chinese territory. All they could do was bomb it and then say it was a mistake.

I'm not trying to defend their action (if indeed this is what really happened). But I do realize that people that make such decisions never have a black and white contrast to work with. Life is grey and messy.
 
maybe i need to re-read the above article but nowhere does it mention the destination of the uranium. there are many players that would covet this shipment.
