i heard on the news our planes were policing the no fly zone and iraq fired on us. it was pointed out that firing on a plane, civilian or non-civilian, is an act of war. anyway, i guess we just took out some targets that make it easier for us to police the no fly zone without being fired upon as easily.

I wouldn't point to the Washington Post. It was just an editorial. Not an opinion of the paper.

There are not many papers in the country (if any) that would not publish an opinion contributed by a former President.
