That's what I thought. Apparently they're making dental crowns out of it now. Maybe I can now impress a lady at a local fossil and mineral show.I thought cubic zirconia was for men who could not afford an expensive diamond diamond ring.
Stress comes from not knowing what to do. If you have a well thought out plan before you enter the trade outlining how you will react to every possible situation there is no stress, only process....but these won't disappear until you address the source of your stress.
Consider something in life which is not easy but which you do not stress about - such as driving.
Normally, we are not particularly stressed at the thought of driving 5 miles to the shops to buy some socks, or going round to see a friend, or popping round to visit the elderly relatives. Its because we're not taking excessive risk through inattention, we're not racing against a target, we've had loads of practice, and we have a thorough knowledge of what we're going to do.
Get out of live trading for real money until all these things are resolved. Its more important to resolve the stress than to trade better.
Lay off the coffee and tea and sugar. Stick to water only. Markets are already nerve-arousing, you don't need more arousal with caffeine and the depression with the sugar falling. Sprint for 20 minutes before trading. Several sets of as fast as you can. Try these two and see.Been trading for four-ish years and limited-ly consistantly profitable. I find myself getting increasingly stressed out while/after trading. I start at the comp 1hr before 9:30am cash open and usually end an hour after. Its usually a half hour after open or so when Im doing my peak equities/scalping that I get really stressed out and that it ruins me for the rest of the day. I get a tight ball of stress in my neck which transfers to the rest of my body and wreaks havoc there. Besides doing biofeedback that B. Steenbarger mentions like getting a HR monitor, what else can I do? I do a hot to cold shower before trading, stretch, and do a bulletproof coffee. Im thinking it could be the coffee which Ima swap out for black tea. Other ideas because this is ruining my QOL...
