He's down in the polls big time.

Thus, DeSantis will only win (not big) if Trump is convicted of his crimes against America. Until that happens...there's plenty of time for Trump to make DeSantis road kill on his way to the Republican nomination.

The Democrats need for Trump to win while knowing he'll eventually be convicted. It will prevent an embarrassing Biden/Trump repeat. Also, it will open the door wide open for an "Independent" to sneak into the White House.
