A28, I have a vacation home in the province of Friesland in the Netherlands. In a quaint little town, called Balk, some 10 miles from my place a refugee center will be opened shortly. This is a center for 1500 refugees in a town of 3000 people. I can guarantee you almost nobody in this town except the local politicians were in favor of opening this refugee camp. People have protested as much as they could within the democratic boundaries, to no avail. What they didn't do was revert to violence, cause that's what it takes to stop treacherous politicians ruining our countries by importing mobs of illiterate, diseased, retarded and violent savages. It will have to get a whole lot worse before it comes to that.

It breaks my heart to see places like Balk destroyed by the refugee settlement program. The question that isn't answered for me is why?

WHY are the local politicians agreeing to this? You speak of the "treacherous politicians" but what is their motivation? Why aren't they listening to their own constituency? What are they getting out of it?

Are they just being persuaded by Merkel and the EU?? or do they even have a choice??

There is something we don't understand.

The United States has been shielded from the worst of the refugee problem by the Atlantic, but even here we have seen gestures towards "taking in" refugees.

I have to confess something:

At least in the US we have gun laws that allows us to protect ourselves. In Europe people are unable to have firearms.

I have carried a Colt .380 for years but when all this business about settling refugees started to appear in the press I just happened to stop by my local gun store and upgrade to a S&W 9mm shield. Just coincidence I guess.

But the other day I was looking at a .44 magnum.

Some people have been doing a lot of s$^t , and believed they would get scott free: total impunity, no consequences they believed. Who is to know if some of these assholes and their accomplices know exactly why is that so, but are keeping quiet to save their own a$$, but do not mind that everybody except themselves pay the price for their crap.

National politicians salivate at these opportunities, so they go along in the game and dictate the required policies to local politicians, that have to comply to not ruin their career opportunities. It all trickles down to local level straight from the EU-top.

Politicians from other parties that hold realistic views are constantly ridiculed, demonized, isolated from political cooperation and labelled nazis and fascists. Once they pose a real threat to those in control they get killed.

Anybody with a high profile career within government or business, that supports non politically correct ideas risks ruining that career in no time. Ie. some time ago a leftist judge stated on national television that he couldn't imagine that someone who is a member of an anti-immigration party (Geert Wilders' PVV) could be appointed as a judge. That's the climate we're dealing with.

I don't think i'm much at risk, as I live in another town. For sure there will be the occasional burglary or theft here too, but the people in Balk are really in for a nightmare.:( I'm afraid particularly the girls there will be at risk, we have an abundance of beautiful natural blonds down here. Doutzen Kroes was born in this region.

Very unlikely, I live in the major watersport centre in Friesland. A refugee camp would ruin tourism completely. Should they nevertheless attempt to open one I will be the first to organize the opposition.
