Traders that trade well in stocks simple don't talk about their strategies cause even though many shares are traded through the day, where that person gets in there might not be much, I won't discuss ever what I use to entry, whereas in futures it is different cause like ES there are some nice size moves but it generally scalpers dream. You need good consistent volume in stocks so it is often same stocks and occasionally something in turmoil that moves. Guys that stick around the most go for consistency moves whereas volatility jumps, if it doesn't move, you lose.
Two popular ones that I have heard of (but not used) are Trade Ideas and Madscan. Search for these terms on here and you might find some threads that talk about them.
I've used trade ideas, it's a pretty slick piece of software. Free if you don't need realtime quotes (offen,by say 9:15am it'll have enough data to give you a pretty good idea of what is likely to move).
It comes with a load of presets, each preset has multiple scanner windows etc. I highly recommend it.
