I do see the comparison with Willkie in 1940 as being valid - good to see it brought up.

For those who don't think an "outsider" could win the Republican nomination - they should take a complete look at the 1940 Wendell Willkie campaign.

no kiddding, I routinely watch the usual shows on msnbc, and it is 60 full minutes about what is wrong with Trump and the republicans and not single word about what is good about Hillary (other than she is no worse than a republican.)

we use to have an over/under on how long they could go without saying "republican"" or "GOP". When it got down to about six seconds we just quit betting.

The spread is too damn wide at 20 points. He's also not pulling independents, just the crazies.
