Strange Tech Problem

1st 3 places I'd look... power supply, RAM, motherboard battery.
 
I was looking for the jumper setting and to clear the cmos.
When I have had intermittent issues this clear can help resolve some problems.
Follow the user guide instructions.

You can give it a try. It is a simple thing to do. Make sure computer is shut and unplugged. Then remove the cmos battery . Move the jumper to clear position to pins 2 and 3. Wait ten seconds. Then move jumper back to normal position pins 1 and 2.
Replace cmos battery. Then power up again.

Follow the user guide instructions.

You will lose date/time and will have to set them again.
It is #11 in the manual. Jumper settings/ clear cmos.

ram fine. battery is also on my list. have no idea how to check power supply,but i have Antec EarthWatts on all my PC's-rock solid,good quality stuff.

It's a good idea to have a spare PSU on hand. Then just swap them and see if your problem clears up.

Sometimes the computer will boot up just fine and all will appear to be OK while the PSU is still the origin of problems. It's happened to me.
 
i have it. i have plenty of spare stuff. even couple spare monitors. just last week on one PC one monitor dies during trading session-no biggie. replaced without shutting down the PC or any applications :)
