most traders place stops at the most obvious places and so this is exactly the chop size of market movement.

and yes multicharts will trade on trendline.

I agree and disagree. I personally don't use stops, because I trade slow movers like the /ZT (2yr), /ZF (5yr), and spreads. For fast movers like crude, a stop is probably a good idea, especially around a news announcement.

My aim is to use for profit taking. HPE today from about 11:45 would be a good example. It's just been steadily climbing. I would just place a t/l under and use that to stop out.

TRUE, in good tren$, great trend$ or super trend ;
but MARCH is known for whipsaws+ non not so hot trends.
Many fortunes made in RE without stops.
Good profits some times when stops are hit.....................................
