Any updates on this "server based module" you mentioned with server-side stops?

I have been requesting stop feature from my firm for a long time. And I came across with this posting, can someone tell me if this stop feature with Gensis manual or automatic like IB. Thank you.

I tried the stupid TraderStop program today. It's incorporated into Laser. It's under the "Program Keyboard Hotkeys" area. I placed a TraderStop to buy a symbol $2 above it's current price, just to see what would happen. The order never showed up in my "Open Orders" area. However, it showed up in my Messages screen, so I knew the order was good to go. The bad part was that I couldn't seem to cancel it. I hope it's not a Good-Til-Cancel order, lol. Otherwise I might get filled in the future by surprise, lolol.

So then I tried again on an oil stock that I felt would go up this afternoon. I placed the TraderStop just a couple of pennies above the Ask price. I waited, it got hit, and I was filled. Worked perfect. Except the bad part once again is you can't seem to cancel the order, which kind of makes it useless. Maybe there is a secret to canceling the order, but I haven't discovered it. So I won't be using the feature again until I discover how to cancel these orders. I don't feel like being surprised later on.

Double-click on the order in the Stop window.

Stops don't even work anymore on Laser. What's up with that???

Serge told me today that they could not identify the problem with T-Stops so they are now working to include server-side stops in the same fashion as the old t-stops.

He estimates 2Â½ months.

I am about to join Genesis and have been using T-stops in the last version of Laser that allows them with no problems, but I am demoing the software without real money so maybe this is the reason.

Is everyone having problems with T-stops or just some people?

I find the feature very useful and hate to wait 2 months for it. I'm afraid it will no longer work fine when I start using real money. I guess I will have to trade for a day with 1 share to test it.
