Sad to say, but perhaps a requirement....
Metal detectors and "restricted entry"... (enter through only one or a few doors)... with security guards at the post. We have such at government buildings and airports. Perhaps we should have them at schools too?? (Sick! I understand. But there is evil in the world... what are we to do about it?)
When I was a kid, we NEVER heard of a school "shoot up". Now, almost too commonplace. Why? Perhaps it's due to the number of kids on psycho meds??? Perhaps it due to the number of video games which de-humanize the killing of others?? Or, a combination of both.
We spend a LOT of money on the TSA at airports. Do we need the same at school entrances??
