Stop Order Not Honored

I am getting lots of order execution problem with IB, I believe it is server issues, all the stop loss order on a SSR stock did not get filled, so the problem is when we open buy order and stop loss market order is considered as Short Sale, this is really WRONG.

This has caused too much losses.

If the buy order is not filled then the sell stop order is a short sale

Be smart and Let other traders do the complaining.


There are hundreds of big brokers in this world.
Simply open another trading account
and see if you get a better result.

Stop losses don't always work. When a million people have the same SL at the same price, who do you think should get the money if there's not enough liquidity?

Make your stop losses loser, or if you can do a market sell stop loss even better. Or use phone alert.
