Why stop out? Average down. Eventually you'll be right. Tell your wife it's called: Reverse Buffet Strategy.

Think about it, stocks don't go up forever, but stocks do go down and never come back.

After a -60 point drop in the dow it has managed to pull a 180 and rally into the end of the day, a rally of 60+ points on any given day would most likely never do a 180!!! There is no risk left!
