Can you think of well performing stocks that dont get any media attention...


I can think of MT mittal steel has one candidate -- Shares went up from 1 buck to 34 in a matter of 3-4 years.

mittal was extensively covered in the uk press especially when all those takover rumors begun to flood the mkt.

Wasn't the majority shareholder's face ( I think it's Lakshmi Mittal) plastered on every financial magazine after he threw his daughter a week long wedding party?
I could be mistaken, but isn't he the same guy who purchased the single largest piece of residential real estate property in history?
 
I think I should take that back, come to think of he is quite well known now, I first learned about him back in the late 90s, as he was a well known entreprenuer in India.

And yes, he owns the house that I believe shattered records for the biggest purchase ever in Real Estate. And his daughter believe it or not had a wedding in Verssaile..


Come to think of a stock that isn't loved by the media that has performed well.

I like the thread topic but your first post shows that you need to do more research.

MT is part of the Philly steel sector index option.

As for stocks that do not get attention, here are a few:
ORA, TIE, ESLR.
