Stocks - Risk of Intraday Price Shocks

I have found a few research papers on the net, but have not posted links because they were not directly relevant/most likely of little value.

Current takeaway is with high credit 3-5M north AVG daily volume big caps, ETFs, baskets, etc. the risk is low...

Any additional comments? TIA
