I'm getting really sick of this. When I get my backtest results, I sometimes see some outrageous numbers, so naturally I manually check what happened on that trade and what do I find? A friggin mistake. This doesn't happen all too often, but still, it completely screws up the integrity of my results. I can't manually check every trade.
Plus SWP doesn't even offer statistics like max dd, avg winner/loser, etc.
Does anyone know of a better program for backtesting? I know tradestation is probably better, but the real-time data package is pretty expensive. I see they have a EOD package for backtesting for $50 a month, but I think that you can't use intraday timeframes with that package. Ahhhh. What to do?
