Stock Trad3r INDEX

So far so good. RIMM AAPL BIDU GOOG holding very well

The RIMM is smacking people across the face and saying, 'I don't care if the Nasdaq is down. There is money going into stocks and they're real stocks....

Any chance stock_trad3r is actually a short?

There is a stock that I follow, and on the main message board for that stock, there is a prolific poster who is extremely bullish on the stock, just as stock_trad3r appears to be here.

But I have heard that the poster is secretly working with the shorts. He posts bullish messages because the shorts don't want the stock to drop precipitously. They would prefer a gradual decline, so they have that guy post positive messages to make sure there are some buyers on the way down.

Another great day

rimm surging as usual

huge buying today

tons off upside

haha...you have no idea how overpriced RIMM is. What you're seeing is attempts by market makers to keep the price stable. I've noticed that slowly over the last 12 weeks, there have been a few downgrades by analysts. One by one, they are slowly going to start downgrading it.

RIMM has a huge expectation for good numbers at these lofty prices. If they don't deliver huge the next quarter, the growth ride is over. Take this caution to the wind. You are hanging on to a time bomb right now.

LOL up is up and that what rimm is today, yesterday, and in AH

People have been saying overpriced for the past 2 years and they have all been wrong.

Rimm always has and always will crush the numbers. Like goog and aapl. People bet against these companies but they continue to beat anyway.

BTW the futures are UP BIG

should be solid rally soon

way oversold

You see, that's where my frame of mind works a bit differently. I look at the sector that a company operates in. I wouldn't have said RIMM was over-valued and I hadn't said it was overvalued during the bull market of the last 5 years, because the atmosphere was ripe for technology companies to operate. Easy debt and strong macro-economics. The financials were strong and thus the stock market was strong.

Fast forward to Nov 19th, 2007. The financials have been in a relative free fall. When the financials go off the cliff, that is your leading indicator of the economy as a whole. Technology growth stocks usually continue their wishful momentum for a small period of time as they wait for the dust to settle from the collapse of financials.

Don't believe me, but I'm willing to wager a bet that your long has more risk at this exact moment than a short.

Time will tell....we'll see.

btw...the stock market is starting to "revert to the mean" in terms of value stocks being much better investments. There is SO MUCH less risk in value stocks right now. Your returns better be astronomical over the next 6 months to justify the risk that growth stocks have.

Like I said, don't believe me, but be forewarned, you're in denial. *wink*

Don't say stupid shit. "The market makers" could care less where the stock goes beyond where they need to clear out the day's inventory from customer facilitation. And good desk traders don't carry much of that.

There is no prop. There is no manipulation. There is nothing but PRICE.
