ElCubano, you encouraging others to stay at resorts in Cuba is the equivalent of supporting a racist policy. If you cared about the Cuban people you would not do so.

In that thread I pointed out that I wouldn't encourage folks to stay at an Israeli resort if they LEGALLY BARRED Israelis from being there. You would encourage it in Cuba, so would you in Israel as well?

I'm not making any assumptions, you simply said i was wrong and cited one example. I said that I don't believe citing one example makes me wrong.

I find Canadians to be ignorant about a large number of things. Courtesy and ignorance have nothing to do with each other. I find Canadians naive about more than I can name. I find Canadians also ignorant about anything that isn't American actually. As a matter of fact, Canadians are seem so obsessed with the USA that perhaps that's their problem.

That was a lot of words without saying too much. What are we so ignorant about? You think we're ignorant about so many things, yet can't write down one single example?? That seems strange. Also, this paragraph above sure seems to be supporting my initial claim, no? You just generally accused all Canadians of being ignorant without supporting your argument at all! AND called us obsessed with the USA???

If you're too ignorant to know that I post in other threads and instead judge me then that's your obstacle to overcome.

Ah yes, it's because I'm ignorant. It's not because everywhere I go you spout mean, unwarranted, useless verbal diarrhea. Instead, I'm not ferreting out the nuggets of solid gold you're leaving everywhere I'm not looking.

You not being able to point to a single useful post of your own about trading sure is telling to me and everyone else reading these boards however....

Usually negating someone's accusation with proof means that the accuser was wrong...but since you're Canadian you may not understand such logic.

I find Canadians ignorant about many things including world history, politics, arts, etc. Discussions in detail about politics generally seem to draw blank stares or blind agreement in my experience.

I met an American the other day who told me he felt Candians were very ignorant of politics too. I asked him why he felt that way, and he said "the last Canadians I talked to had no idea who was running for President, or what their platforms are...."

I sure hope you can find the humor in that statement.

But in all seriousness, do you really believe Americans are knowledgable in those areas, or are you just trying to use this as ammunition? The countries voting rate is abysmal, and I wonder if a large part of Americans even know they are supposed to vote!

What's funny is that Canadians beat (very handily, I might add) American's in reading, writing, math and science measured by PISA.

Logic dictates that if someone accuses you of never having done or said anything supportive and you negate that with specifics, the accuser is wrong. For some reason your criteria went from "ANY" post to "ALWAYS" posting.

You quickly moved from a conversation to trying to bash Americans. I never claimed anything regarding Americans. You continue to support my belief that Canadians are obsess with the USA. Thanks for playing.

I've been to Canada about 5 times and spent about 3 months in Vancouver and another 2 or so traveling across the country. I've met a couple hundred Canadians in the country and another 50-60 outside the country while traveling. Good enough gauge for me considering I've traversed a large part of the country and find Canadians nice, but fairly ignorant and uninformed outside of North American news at best.

I've already won this argument. Winning for me means annoying you and you're clearly irked since you broke out the typical Canadian anti-American rhetoric. Do they give you idiots a field guide for that? Now I'm just teasing you because you're just supporting my points about Canadians being naive and obsessed with the USA. I only mentioned mentioned being Americans and you started bashing them. Too funny, thanks dummy.
