Looking for new things to enter, CAn't seem to find, will notify when found.

APA on my list. But still deciding on the entry method.

Energy all the way.
When the market goes down , energy goes up, When the market goes up, energy goes up.

How can you go wrong?
 
Just so you know, not really possible to trade APA with a 5 or 10 cent stops. I trade him all the time and it just moves too much. even when there is a big buyer or seller he always walks away to trigger stops before proceeding.

Hello Steve,

I agree, he does whip but I think I'll edge in with his movements with small lots.

For a stock APA , I only need like 2000 or so shares for long term hold.

Do you expect to 3bag a 25 bil?
Did that company just invent a gold generating machine in their backyard?


Clearly I have the wrong priorities for the objects who can not achieve my vision.

I have exited all CMS @ 15.03

wrong price action.

I will re-enter one price action corrects itself.

I do believe this stock will continue to drop in the next 2-3 days with a price action like this.

Very bullish though, don't know why there was no support @ 15.05-6-7

like that sector.Probable stock goes past 17, past 17.77

Like your exit day also , did exit also, same sector different stock;
did pray also. That would be an unusual miracle if you could swing trade with 0.05 stop consistantly , could lose leveraged farm if you did that often enough. with slippage.

Re-entered eod, in this sector with take overs happening;
will risk more than .05.

More than 87.77 % of my trading is swing position trend trading;
probably didnt have any buyers come in at $15 cause investors didnt want to pay up rite now , traders like me /you didnt want to buy up on 7th day up, , good day to sell longs.

I will be re-entering this stock as well, but not today,
Maybe tomorrow, I have to watch how it opens, Opens are very important.

Its interesting you mentioned slippage ,

Its an extremely important factor in my risk management , I never load up more shares then when I can unload.

I got burned big time after Steve mentioned it to me hahaha so I wised up a little.

The Bid when I entered had a larger buyer on the bid so, I took a larger ask home then usual because I knew I can get out if I wanted to .


I was holding onto a XXK share lot position with CMS,

and today once I saw a instit buyer on Market Depth, I was like hallelaeuh ,

Unloaded that market in sep lots!

Right after it dropped down to 14.99

the Size bid dropped down to 1 x 5

with no buyer in sight hahaha



Todays price should have never dropped lower then 15.08 really. So I was looking to unload immediately.




The Idea will be to keep on trying to jump on the train while its not moving. We'll be onboard in a matter of time.

I have been daytrading morning stocks, only taking in 500 share lot size mainly because some stocks bidask size is always lame and I don't want to be holding no bag with the specialist waiting to slap me.


Do you trade with 500 shares or do you stay with 1k lots or just take whatever is on the ask ?
 
I buy whats on the ask and keep upticking it with whatever I need to keep him movin up.

Still working on schedules in oil/gas stock sector.
Its hard to stop a train.

And not a stock tip but, another central air/heat ad says;

I was trading my way into swing trades today,

And I had.
Yes,

I had over 36 stocks in my list to swing INTO. hahahah

trying to "Swing into"

so I'm trading,

I don't know if I was trading, I think it was more like going nutso over the 300 alerts blaring in my ear.
buy here, buy here , low volume here, buy here.

Until I noticed, not only did I not buy into anything I got totally confused with so many sounds going around how in the world am I going to swing trade into anything.

I checked yahoo finance's key statistics, I noticed some of the stocks have - profitability, Why am I trying to swing into piece of shit stocks.

And it dawned on me,

Quality is Better. May be more opportunities, but quality instead of quantity.

Not only quality its better for me to concentrate on 3 stocks instead of 35 stocks running my alerts.

So I Took my list, Ran key statistics on all of them , Took out the ones with only high profit margins and high earning growths.,

Tacked them on my screen

Came down with 5 stocks

EXP eaglematerials
POT
OXPS optionsexpress
MGI moneygram

I entered

EXP : 152.20 10:33

MGI : 27.07 10:25

Both stops are now at breakeven,

Now I feel so much more concentrated, I Think I'll hold onto these stocks for a long time.

I am swing trading, why swing trade into piece of shit stocks? Like punching yourself in the face and working hard at it.

Less is more.
Quality is better.
