Sticking to the Plan...NOT!!!

Certainly. It really depends on the deviation - if you deviate enough to wipe out your account it's pretty terrible, in my opinion.

thank you for that... I need to give myself a break sometimes... also,, and this is just a comment, deviating from the plan has also made me some great trades...ugh, but that is reinforcing a bad habit
 
It is hard to stick to a plan if you are not disciplined. You need to be disciplined if you want to stay long in the market. You need to ask yourself these kind of questions if you want to be successful for the long run. Do you think you are disciplined?
 
I think that discipline is not my thing, but when it comes to something concrete, I'm trying to follow the rules and not retreat.
