I think it is a mistake to take it personal.
It is called self-sabotage, which as you know, not only exists at the individual basis but also manifests at group gatherings.
On a personal level, I have also decided to keep my mouth shut. I came to the conclusion that people don't give a shit, they can't see or refuse to take advantage of honest, generous, well thought out/minded advice.....
so, screw everybody....
otoh, thank you for your writings, I have learned a lot from them...
