I 've got his number because he's posting rather than trading. (I'M not trading because my system tells me to take a nap now, or waste my time on ET.) I don't think that Dennis was quantifiable because the true concept and skills required to make a method so, have not really been available (technically) till recently (the last 5 years).

As far as Niederhoffer goes I don't really have enough information to comment on him.

I can assure you that those that do trade quant sucessfully will NOT be in the spotlight and you won't read about them in any industry mags any time soon.

In order to PROVE anything we would need to show TAX returns for the last 20 years.

Odus, you're not OLD enough to have paid taxes for 20 years, unless you were filing to collect Aid to Dependent Children. My pretax income has increased over 40 fold since I started working. If I have to count on the likes of you to keep Social Security afloat, I guess I'll have to KEEP working.
