Steve Schmidt: Palin Believed Candidacy 'God's Plan'

President George Bush has claimed he was told by God to invade Iraq and attack Osama bin Laden's stronghold of Afghanistan as part of a divine mission to bring peace to the Middle East, security for Israel, and a state for the Palestinians.

The President made the assertion during his first meeting with Palestinian leaders in June 2003, according to a BBC series which will be broadcast this month.

Quote from trendlover:

She is scarey.
Look at this crazy thinking. She really think she is chosen to be special.
She can do anything (like quit the job to make money on the book) and people believe god tell her to do this, and they give her their money.

"ANCHORAGE, Alaska — A video on her hometown church Web site shows Sarah Palin being blessed three years ago by a Kenyan pastor who prayed for her protection from "witchcraft" as she prepared to seek higher office.

The video, which made the rounds Wednesday on the Internet, shows Palin standing before Bishop Thomas Muthee in the pulpit of the Wasilla Assembly of God church, holding her hands open as he asked Jesus Christ to keep her safe from "every form of witchcraft."

"Come on, talk to God about this woman. We declare, save her from Satan," Muthee said as two attendants placed their hands on Palin's shoulders. "Make her way my God. Bring finances her way even for the campaign in the name of Jesus. ... Use her to turn this nation the other way around."

"On a visit to the church in June 2008, Palin spoke fondly of the Kenyan pastor and told a group of young missionaries that Muthee's prayers had helped her to become governor.

"Pastor Muthee was here and he was praying over me, and you know how he speaks and he's so bold," she said. "And he was praying 'Lord make a way, Lord make a way' ... He said, 'Lord make a way and let her do this next step.' And that's exactly what happened."

Yes. In all of this big world, how do some people think they are so special to be chosen by a god?
Or really, they have first the personal agenda , THEN they add god to have all the people support them.

As this is written, the all important ET thread rating systems shows 11 "worst" ratings...

...so the Palingnomes can't defend her, but they sure as hell can increase Baron's hit rate by voting their puny little minds...

:D :D :D

Most people here don't vote on thread content, they vote on the poster. I suspect there are only two votes ever cast, best or worst. I also suspect there are a more than a few aliases in use primarily for voting.

Its a conspiracy.

If you say so...

I think it is just the simplicity of the blind and stupid following the blind and stupid...voting against anything that confronts their own blindness and stupidity.

It would not surprise me to see the republicans put up Palin just to proudly and defiantly show the so called intellectual elite just how stupid the Palin supporters really are...
