I would never use a platform for the news. If I want basic news, I can open a TD account with very little money and get basic news for free and trade on another platform.When I traded full time, I paid for a new accumulator. It was the best way to monitor news live and do searches. I used Newsedge. Bloomberg is "better" but $2K/month and hard to use.

I agree.. I use Flyonthewall and thetradexchange.com Just thought maybe sterling had another one for free.. Bloomberg is just waaaaay too much info.. Newsedge is good but a little difficult to understand as well
 
Newsedge is not cheap but you can pay for many news feeds including Flyonthewall and watch from one platform. Without this, I always felt like everyone found out stuff before me.
 
If you contact them, I think they will give you a free month trial. My salesman did that, but he moved on two years ago.
