Btw, before I forget, I agree with 377 (?) about "extinction? naw". Should there be a general crop failure due to drought and heat exhaustion, or due to cooling, many will perish, but it's very doubtful all humans would.

The climate fluctuates. Always has. Even BEFORE man had any influence on it.

I still take satisfaction from the progress we've made on this forum over the past, what, 14 months? We've moved from, "there is no warming" to "there's warming, but Man is not much responsible for it". Good news indeed.

Maybe Ricter would like to read about ocean currents. Here is a good article. Skip down to the "deep water currents" section to learn about how the salianation can effect the north american current.

Here is a short article I found about the end of the world happening in the next few years. 2011 was also the year of the Rapture and other ends-of-the-world that as we well know, never materialised. I think the end of the world would come about through something that noone envisages, having said that, its wrong to be totally unconcerned in very obvious environmental changes.

Not really. There hasn't been any warming since 1998. 14 years. It's a FACT.
