Another great example that a high IQ doesn't stand for high common sense.
The Lefty sees only what he wants to see.
So he's only brilliant until he disagrees with you.
Like with Hollywood celebrities or athletes, success or acumen in one field does not automatically make one an expert in others.
Except that Hawking is known for his brilliant mind; for being one of the most intelligent men in history, rather than being someone who gets paid to emote or jump.
So... we got ANOTHER foreign national interjecting themselves into the Presidential debate and hoping to sway opinion

He is known for his brilliance in physics, not politics, economics or international relations. If I had to have someone negotiate a deal for me and the choices were him amd Trump, I'm picking Trump. Every time.
Perhaps one aspect of brilliance is to be able to distinguish between fact and hype/bullshit. I'm guessing that one of the most brilliant minds in recorded history might be able to apply some of that intellectual horsepower beyond theoretical physics and cosmology. I'm thinking that maybe world-class intellect isn't quite as pigeonholed as you would like to believe.
P.S. Are you, Scataphagos and Ditch known for your brilliance in politics, economics and international relations? No? Funny, then, how your towering intellects were able to bridge that divide and develop such learned insights in those areas, eh?
Oh, and how about Trump? Politics and international relations? Yeah, really.
Economics, maybe? Since you want to be a Trump stakeholder, maybe you should ask some of his past stakeholders how they fared economically. To save time, you might wish to start with court records.
