This is a team owned by big time democrat donors, the Rooneys. Old man Rooney gave Obama so much money he was appointed ambassador to Ireland. Their QB "Big Ben" was credibly accused of raping a college girl in a bar in an ugly incident several years ago. Of course, he slimed out of being prosecuted. No problem for the Rooneys welcoming him back though, boys will be boys, right?

The Baltimore Ravens, another notorious thug team, are very upset at Trump. They were less upset when star linebacker Ray Lewis and his entourage were involved in a murder outside an atlanta strip club. Apparently someone disrespected them. Lewis also miraculously avoided prosecution. It's good to have an entourage. Lots of extremely reliable witnesses if you happen to need them. Pro tip: avoid slugging your GF in an elevator with a security camera. That was the mistake another Raven, former RB Ray Rice made. These teams have a zero tolerance policy for criminal conduct captured on video. You can buy off witnesses and victims. Video, not so easy.
 
I think Tomlin was trying (and failed) to remove his team from the discussion completely. That's why he asked them what they wanted to do and then, when the players couldn't decide, removed them from the process.

The Steelers were my team back when I watched football. Now when folks ask who my team is, I'll say "I no longer pay attention to pro footbal".

I would re consider buying that companies products.
