This thread sure caught my attention. Diagnosed with cancer almost 4 years ago, I immediately began following a whole foods pure vegetarian diet (check out "Eat to Live" by Dr. Joel Fuhrman, Dr. John McDougall's books/ website -
http://www.drmcdougall.com/free.html, and The China Study by Dr. T.Colin Campbell). No refined foods, no meat/dairy, no added oils. This is the true key to longevity. Supplements are an unnecessary waste of money. Resveratrol is just another money sink. Whole foods diet with minimal or no animal products and caloric restriction are the only proven paths to longevity and good health.
I chose this path instead of chemotherapy, because it boosts the immune system instead of destroying it. So far, best decision I've ever made:
My health improved drastically within 2 weeks of dropping animal products and added oils from my diet and I've been healthy and cancer-free ever since. The health problems that disappeared in less than 2 weeks: chronic arthritis, sciatica, acid reflux/hiatal hernia, asthma, allergies, and PMS (made the hubby happy). Plus my cholesterol dropped from 191 to 127 in 6 weeks.
I have limitless energy and need only 6 hours of sleep a night now. I feel better than I've ever felt in my entire life. I doubt I'd ever be able to handle the stresses of learning to trade this past year if I wasn't in such optimal health as a result of eating right, and getting a good workout every day.
You can't bottle this and sell it. That's why this information isn't trumpeted in the popular media.
Follow this plan, then take the money you'd spend on supplements and doctor's bills and short a pharmaceutical stock
