But those are not big deals, all you have to do is upload the 1099B from the brokerage into TurboTax and it deals with it I think

Oh gotcha, I've never heard of Maverick Trading but I just looked at their website and it looks like one of the weekly emails I got from Traders Accounting trying to sell me on the next gimmick.

That should bother you. A proper professional services firm shouldn't be soliciting you. That might even violate the standards of the CPA.

I wrote my same review summary on BBB and she responded attacking me more lol. She just doesn’t get it. I hope a lot of people don’t get hurt by them. A part of me wants to file a complaint with the Arizona Accountancy Board but I have way too many things on my plate; I take care of 4 elderly disabled along with my own stuff

TurboTax is not good for traders because it doesn't let you put in sales over 10M, which most traders probably have.

Do you mean over 10M in one trade?

Turbotax cannot support any entries (including totals) over 10M.
Also, it cannot support more than 10,000 trades.

EDIT: If you are a professional (doctor) who engages in entreprenurial activities, shouldn't you already have an accountant that does your taxes? Why wouldn't you just use them? Especially if you are a doctor with your own practice. If you have a bunch of startup businesses that you invest in, then you should be inundated with K1's which would require or benefit from using an accountant. That accountant should know your whole financial picture.

Maybe mine has not been published yet, I just wrote it 2 days ago and then they responded yesterday and then I responded yesterday and now she responded again this morning (but I have not had a chance to read it yet). Maybe they only publish them once the 'process' is completed
