Clinton was able to stay in office by riding the center. I laughed when he got elected, but he turned out to be competent.

So far, that cannot be said of either Bush or Obama.

Leadership? Totally absent. That is the reason for all this uproar from both extremes. What did Eisenhower say? governing is from the center, but governing from either extreme is for the crazies.

This whole attack on Fox is right out of the Hugo Chavez playbook. It shows how far left and out of touch the administration is. The main thing they are accomplishing is enhancing Fox's credibility. Americans may be gullible, but they are not as dumb as Obama gives them credit for being. They are seeing through these crude intimidation tactics. But leave it to the guy who was sold as "post-partisan" to turn press conference credentials into a partisan issue.
