The major indices mostly, well the main four. I can trade hundreds now (as I did today anticipating the run up) but I mostly stick to shallower waters, adding in around 2s and rarely over 20 per scalp. Some say averaging into an entry is pointless, I say fuck you, I'm eating haha.
I got started in 2014, I built equity and my systems carefully so by late 2016 was SAFELY able to pull off some bigger boy trades. I do have two great staff mind you, stats girl and code boy.
They both know how to trade but can't really press the button so well/don't want to. This makes a huge difference with no serious stupid unforced errors or glitches in three years now. By myself, probably have stepped on the garden rake a couple of times. I'm scaling back, I have what I need money wise, they can live happily. I'm getting well into forging blades and stuff these days.
Very nice. Yes, I suppose if you can scale, anything is possible.
As an aside, now I picture you as this guy. Maybe it is because of your handle, and my mind's eye...
I've never got the issues people have with scaling futures but I kind of do get the need to stay in shallow waters most of the time. You may feel be as cool as a cucumber and still your heart is being eaten away by cortisol etc. playing with more money than your prior to trading life's experience deems sane.
A lot of conservatives are inherently chickens mind you, hence all the position trading etc. Do both, more money that way.
If you can picture me as the guy who will make a fair version of this cable Damascus before the end of the month, that could be helpful
