Trying to say she did something illegal just doesn't make sense to me.
What she did was shameful and she is definitely getting negative feedback for it. I think that is sufficient. The price she will pay is all about perception.
I would not blame Trump if he conducted future SOTU addresses from the Oval Office though that clearly diminishes the impact.

Trump is now saying it was illegal which kind of set me off. That is quite a reach and he should just move on and let it speak for itself.

Trump has been through hell with the witch-hunts and I allow him some blowing off of steam for a few days.
Then he needs to move past it. The dems are having a catastrophically bad week so he does not have to even every score. Karma is doing that for him. Seeing Biden tank and Hunter still in the crosshairs is another victory that the media does not like to even mention. In the end, Trump has gotten and continues to get the examination/investigation of Hunter that wanted, albeit he had have a sword run through him to get there, but that's just another day for Trump.
