starting with easy language

hey guys im trying to create my first indicator on tradestation with easylanguage, and its not that easy to me ... lol ... im a beginner, could someone give me a hand ?
I wana create the Force Index Dr Elder talks about in his books.
He says :
Force Index = Volume Today * (Close Today - Close Yesterday)

It seems pretty easy put i have no clue how to write it in easy language.

Try this:

{ Force Index = Volume Today * (Close Today - Close Yesterday)
}


Value1 = Volume * (Close - Close[1]) ;
Plot1( Value1, "Force Index" ) ;
