Starting to ladder US Treasuries...

Tried to buy a couple of stocks during a drawback on Monday/Tuesday...It never came.

So I will start laddering treasuries. They look slightly better than CDs, (Schwab uses a float of about 8-11 days before clearing the trade)...I'm catching on to their tricks.

Bought about $15,000. bonds (discounted). The yield was above 5.4%...Matures August 31, 2024. I don't like to go out that long, but the Fed may do just one more rate hike then stop.

We'll see...

I got out of this and replaced it with zero coupon tr. bills yield 5.396 (it is hard to find a small size like this on fidelity.)

SAME here, except SCHW money market, clears in 24 hours+ looked @ everything she[fund manager] is buying.
When some cash ETFs+ related .......... did not get filled or filled in postmarket=that's life.
Tried SPYV, not as liquid as SPY or liquid like spxl trade or investment.
Exits on SPYV+ spxl today/profits .
Good trades on XLE related ETFs but not XLE as of yet. XLE not positive YTD\yesterdays close,\.
May have seller remorse on SPYV or spxl exits or may get back in LOL
Last day/ JULY 1st day of AUG tend to be up SPY in history. NOT a prediction+ not insured, Thank God, by any gov agency .SCHW bank does FDIC insure
