I appreciate the time you are putting in clarifying things in my mind. One more round of clarification -- for now -- will help this coming week.
Quote from JScott:
You can use 10 with NQ and 15 with YM at minimum on a fairly small timeframe.[/b]
IS 5 MINUTES A FAIRLY SMALL TIME FRAME?
and I try to swing the second,
AM i GREATLY DISADVANTAGE GOING ALL IN AND THEN ALL OUT AS I MUST WITH A SINGLE CONTRACT?
If you keep changing your approach, setup, entry/exit method, timeframe, etc, you will go nowhere guaranteed.
YES ... I HAVE BEEN THERE AND DONE THAT. IT IS A LESSON LEARNED.
I sure hope it has been with a learning eye with regard to a setup or two or three . . . .
I AM WORKING WITH AND GETTING BETTER WITH THREE SETUPS BUT THEY ONLY WORK IN TRENDS. I CAN DEAL WITH TRENDS IN LARGER RANGE DAYS BUT I AM STILL CLUELESS ON THE TIGHTER DAYS.
But don't try to make money on a 3 - 5 - 7 tick stop . . . worst possible thing you could do.
THAT FITS TOTALLY WITH MY EXPERIENCE.
AGAIN, MANY THANKS
