What is Shopster's P&L first few months of trading in his life? You don't have to read this thread. This thread isn't designed to entertain you, it's for my own notes. If you want to something more exciting to do, go throw your big bucks at some stripper. All I care about right now is treading water. Small gains or break even is fine until I finish reading everything I need to read. Donnie Bright sounds like a gimmick name to me. Just like tradingacademy.com.

Cutting it short so that I will end with a positive week. Getting out with a lot of small gains at a time. I don't care, don't want a losing week. I'm sure Lightspeed loves me with all the commissions I'm giving them on the tiny scalps.

* Realized later that I had pressed the button twice and doubled my position on accident. Thought I was doing ok until I looked at the P&L with it still running at a loss. I decided to wait it out and just get out barely. That was a close one. I am lucky to get out of it. I've been ok with button pushing issues for a while. This is one that resurfaced.

Real upset at what transpired. My main loss was during a sudden power outage at my house. By the time, I powered everything back up, I was down from my profits. Felt like I really didn't deserve this one. I'm really emotionally drained from this. This is the most trades I've done to date. Gotta cut it short. Have to take my mother to the doctor again.

A power outage couldn't have come at a worse time. I had a limit order to sell at 131.28 and realized that during my time out, it went up to 131.27. Had I been online, I would've adjusted the exit price. This is so bad!!

Emotionally I was so bothered that I got back in and made a poor emotion decision stemming from the power outage. One really has to have their emotions in check for this. I would not have gotten in on this poor entry if it wasn't for the power outage and my desperation to get back in the green. Thought I was doing better with keeping emotions in check. Unbelievable.

My bad trade was that I was trying to time the overshoot. It's dangerous to counter trend trade. I learned something new about it today. I don't know why I chose 113.40 as the entry price. Poor judgement. All I did was pick the previous high and thought there would be a pullback but it never happened. I doubled down at 114.58 to get back some of it and exited at 114.11. Another emotionally draining day. I really doubled down later on when it was really going up to fast.

Bad choice on my part of 115.41. Should realize that a 0.02 spread under the EMA isn't going to cut it with GS. Shame because it went back up to where I could've broke even. That's when it really hurts.

Was mostly watching the market before I fell asleep. I was too emotionally exhausted from yesterday. Didn't get any sleep after the market closed yesterday. Missed out on a good opportunity at that time today. I made a mistake in entering the price on one early. Didn't mean to enter the trade. The dollar figure was off so it ended up being a market order. Just wanted out. Lost on the market order. No rebate.

It is obvious from this statement that you do not want to be profitable. So what is it that you want? Are you doing this for fun? (Doesn't sound like it's fun for you.) Do you like the anxiety? Is it the thrill of the trade? Gambling? What is it that you want? It is said that we get out of the markets what we want.
