I am talking big figures and inflation is not exactly precisely measured.
so when your brought up 1964 here... I looked it up as 1964.
it make little difference which year you use... we still have had massive inflation.

"The National Association of Theatre Owners said Tuesday that was the average ticket price in the fourth quarter of 2015. It's up 40 cents, or almost 5 percent, from the same period the year prior. Over the full year of 2015, the average ticket cost $8.43.
"The averages cover theaters across the country and showings at all times of day.
"Propelling ticket prices higher have been various large-format screenings and premium seating options, which pull in moviegoers for blockbusters like "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Jurassic World."

I saw that someone had posted the Oxfam report on wealth inequality the other day, but i didn't really look closely at it. Saw an article on it this morning that i found interesting.
Turns out that when it talked about the 1%, it was talking about global population.
If you have net assets of $68,000, you're in the top 10% of the wealthy of the world.
To be in the top 1%, you need $760,000 of net assets. I think this comprises a whole lot more people than what we're used to thinking about when we think of the 1%.
The report was apparently an effort to nudge policy toward global wealth redistribution. I'm sure they all believe in global warming, too, since that's the vehicle most of them will try to use to accomplish their money grab.
