Inflation is not what it seems to be. Never trust any government produced number.It is just another way to screw the people ,along with taxes and keep them from achieving the American dream . Dream for us commoners is a nightmare for those that control us.They can't allow it to happen.

"The National Association of Theatre Owners said Tuesday that was the average ticket price in the fourth quarter of 2015. It's up 40 cents, or almost 5 percent, from the same period the year prior. Over the full year of 2015, the average ticket cost $8.43.

"The averages cover theaters across the country and showings at all times of day.

"Propelling ticket prices higher have been various large-format screenings and premium seating options, which pull in moviegoers for blockbusters like "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" and "Jurassic World."

"Last year, box office revenue hit a record $11.1 billion."

next... we still have over 700 percent inflation...
so even if wages kept up with the price of movie tickets... why did owners of the Federal Reserve get the benefit of printing triliions and trillion of electronic dollars and not the people of the united states. do you realize how much wealth has been extracted from america by that process. do you see systematic inflation is evil to the working class in the long and short run.

why are you defending systematic inflation...

In 1965 I'm seeing the average hourly was just over $2. So the $1 movie ticket was close to half an hour's average pay. In 2015 the average hourly was $21.22 and the average movie ticket was $8.70.

O inflation, where is thy sting?
