Standing Ovation for Boehner on the floor

Quote from gwb-trading:

IMO - you are reading too far into this poll. The majority of those in the group of 32% who were dissatisfied with the agreement to end the fiscal impasse are upset because they merely kicked the can down the road to February and did not solve the problem. Probably only 10% to 15% of the people in the U.S. support the Republican House in shutting down the country recently based on the polls that I have seen.

Keep in mind that Congress has an approval rating that is below 14%.
I'm convinced.

Don't you wish fc and Ricter were so open minded? :)

Quote from Lucrum:

Yes, but perception often outweighs reality.
The main scream media wrongly and maliciously blamed the GOP all day every day. And the ignorant uninformed sheeple believed it.

A lie told often enough becomes the truth.

Yes, and thanks to the dumbing of America that actually worked, we now have more parasites, lunatics, and just plain dumb shits voting than those who are real Americans. There's no fighting that and the sick msm that plays the music. Revolt is about the only way we'll EVER restore the Constitution and true freedom...:(

Sorry I couldn't resist..... but the reality is that this Shutdown has not helped any potential 2016 Republican Presidential candidate.

"After two months in Washington, it's great to be back in America," Cruz joked in speaking to a crowd of about 750 people in a packed downtown San Antonio hotel ballroom.
Cruz was greeted with an eight-minute standing ovation in an appearance organized by the Texas Federation of Republican Women. People in attendance, many of them wearing red to show their support for keeping Texas a conservative-leaning state, lined up to greet him.

I mentioned possibly moving recently. I HATE moving! Was a Marine Officer, and sadly moved often... I'm actually looking hard at some places in rural northern TX. CO isn't out of the question, but as scat pointed out, the California migrants there have damned near done all they can do to screw up that great state. I've gotta believe TX is the last REAL state in America.

Please don't come here.

Even Bill O'Reilly mentioned how we have become Californicated. The best I can logically hope for is that it takes 40 years to degrade to total shit like California*! By then I'll either have died or have Alzheimers and won't know "come-here from sick-em". Gee, isn't THAT a great thing to hope for?? If only Texas could annex Colorado.... (heavy sigh):(

(Not that it makes any difference... but in my small town, there was not a single "Obama" sign in anyone's yard for the 2012 election. I know of only 2 supporters... I'm sure there were more, I just didn't know of them... and they kept a low profile.... one of whom is a retired school teacher, of course.)

*Amazing, isn't it? Two of the most beautiful and climate-wise lovely places to live in the US have been overrun by the Communist Left!

Florida is still fine. :) We just have to figure out a way to cut loose Miami into the ocean so it sinks.

Florida has the sunshine, oceans and beaches... but too much humidity for me... like most of the rest of the country.

The people go to the jobs and the weather.

The state then becomes a great state.

Then the politicans start wanting a piece of the action.
That is when it starts to devolve into big govt crap.
