SSF trading

The under 25k stock traders live under the pattern daytrading rule.

Now IB has $1/contract commission on SSF; or $10 for 1000 share equivalent + the commission per side. This comes out to be similar to discount stock broker commission for about 1000 shares.

So I think I will be able to trade as often as I want with the 20% margin ...but

What's the word on liquidity? Are there any SSF contracts with good liquidity, NASDAQ or NYSE-based? As long as there are some contracts with sufficient liquidity, I will take a serious look right away.

Where can I find info on the SSF trading and the liquidity for the contracts?
