Square One for Futures?

I know virtually nothing about futures. Where are the best resources to learn from scratch about them? Basically i want to know the basics, where to find quotes, and volume, etc. I have no idea what the daily volume and open interest is in the ES or ER2 for instance.

Please no spam or Tim Sykes horsecrap.
