Here is the rest of my day. 12 trades +9points. -1.25 for slippage and bad decisions. I was haunted by an itchy mouse finger, making snap trades without seeing the whole picture. I'll be glad to post my trades with info if it will help anyone.

Nice work. I was able to trade for about an hour today, netting +3 on 3 trades. There was quite a bit on the table today though if one was there for the big moves.

Very nice! Particulary the first 45 minutes. I was not trading today (Wife was sick and I was on kid patrol - but kept peeking at the indexes (S&P cash) and thinking "trending day - good for alot of holds"

Did your debrief tell you anything (good/bad) ?
 
This is a list of the snapshots I took today (resized 50% and compressed in the attached archive):

where:
- the 6 digit number in the name is the time the snapshot was taken (PST, -3 hours from NY)
- sto = sell to open (implies sell to close any open long position)
- bto = buy to open (implies buy to close any open short position)
- short = already short and holding
- long = already long and holding
- flat = close all open positions

I've done my debriefing, concentrating on the 5 losing trades. This is a short summary of the 7 trades involved (EST times):

3:11:38 BTO 51.25: both RTL bo => long; ok

3:16:18 STO 51.00: didn't recognized the flaw; both low red volume; ym RTL bo => short; -0.25

3:24:09 BTO 52.25: late but good reversal; es at RTL incr green vol; ym RTL bo on low green volume => long; -1.25

3:40:44 STO 53.75: incorrectly anticipated change to short; es bounce from LTL, lower high at possible RTL, incr PRV; ym RTL bo; squeeze, OTR down on incr red => short

3:43:10 BTO 55.50: late but good reversal; long term RTLs proved invalid on both ym and es; being late lost about 1 point; RTL bo on incr volume => long; -1.75

3:49:08 STO 52.50: incorrect / premature reversal to short; both RTL bo on low red volume; -2.75

3:53:23 BTO 54.25: late but good reversal; ym red vol R2B; es relatively low green volume; -1.75
